The Biennale of New Movement is an interdisciplinary Art, Science and Education project, a developmental project initiated and directed by Marija Šćekić, that explores the essential, most natural movement of all Humans, the instinct to survive. Our deep drive to move, explore, discover, create, destroy, kill and reexamine is at the same time a real trace of the contribution of the human race to the history of mankind.
The Biennial of the New Movement project combines seemingly incompatible disciplines and ideas of human action into a single program and is held in different locations in Croatia to promote uniqueness, diversity and dynamism between the modern conception of Man and the traditional values of society.
The project brings together top experts from various fields of art, science and new media technology, focusing on the humanity and humanity behind the artistic-scientific idea presented.
